MyDairyDashboard.com, LLC respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy. This policy describes how we use, protect and disclose the information we collect from you when you use our software applications (the “Software”).
Information We Collect and How We Collect It
We could collect “Personal Data” and “Farm Data” from you. Personal Data is information that can be used to identify, locate or contact you or your representatives. We collect this information directly from you so that we can identify and correspond with you. This may include names, phone numbers, usernames, mailing addresses and email addresses. Farm Data is information, data and other content, in any form or medium, that is collected, downloaded or otherwise received, directly or indirectly from you by or through the Software that relates to on farm activity. Farm Data may include:
- Herd Data: reproduction, production, and health
- Feed Data: usage, animal intakes and costs
- Milk Production Data: daily shipped weights and tests
- Weather Data: minimum and maximum temperature, humidity, and other climate data (information from third-party weather sources).
The sharing of Personal Data and Farm Data with us does not mean that ownership has transferred. You retain ownership of all your Personal Data and Farm Data.
How We Use Personal Data and Farm Data
We use Personal Data and Farm Data for a variety of purposes, including, customer support, Software support and farm reporting. We will not use your Personal Data or Farm Data beyond what we are contractually permitted to do. We will not sell, trade or share your Farm Data with any third parties except as authorized by you, nor will we sell, trade or share your Personal Data to or with any third parties, unless required by law, regulation, or in response to a court order or subpoena. No Personal Data or Farm Data will be used for any unlawful or anti-competitive activities. We do maintain a license to include your Farm Data in our anonymized, aggregated database in which individual information cannot be identified. Your ownership does not include these aggregated databases.
Sharing of Data
We will not share any Personal Data or Farm Data without your consent. You may grant your consent to share Personal Data or Farm Data with:
- Your Team: This could include employees, agents, or contractors that you authorize to receive data for your internal purposes
- Your Trusted Advisors: This could include third-party consultants, vendors, veterinarians, nutritionists, dealers, or other persons that you have identified and that have a contractual agreement with you or us.
- Service Providers: Those third parties that are necessary for us to provide the services and the Software.
Storage of Data
All data is stored on cloud-based servers that are outsourced. All data is backed up using normal and customary security measures. We have implemented measures designed to secure your data from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration and disclosure. However, no method of storage is guaranteed to be permanent or immune from unforeseen events. Therefore, you should always maintain a backup of your Personal Data and Farm Data in a separate, secured location. By using the Software, you acknowledge that we are not responsible for loss of your Personal Data or Farm Data due to an act of God or other catastrophic event. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our Software via the internet. Any transmission of Personal Data or Farm Data is at your own risk.
Retrieval of Data
Upon your request, and assuming no fees are past due, we will make available all of your data for download within a reasonable period of time. This does not apply to any anonymous or aggregated databases in which your individual information cannot be identified.
Notification In The Event of a Breach of Security
We will notify you of any breach in cyber security that results in the unauthorized acquisition by a third party of your Personal Data or Farm Data.
Information Deleted Upon Termination
Upon notice of termination of your account for any reason, your account shall become inactive. We shall retain your Farm Data for a period of ninety (90) days following termination, so that you may download and remove your Farm Data, if desired. After ninety (90) days following termination, your Personal Data and Farm Data shall be deleted from our Software, provided, however, that we will continue to maintain a perpetual, royalty-free license in our anonymized, aggregated database which may include your Farm Data that cannot be individually identified.
